i send my tutor an email because i dunno hw to do e tut question. tis tut question is quite diff from e one we usually do.. he took from past yr paper n nv give us e solution...

hi ,
how do we come up with a rule for 3states? the usual one we do was with 2 bits which is ones and zeros. how do we make it into a ternary? for instance tut 4 question 9, how we we come up with a ternary rule 120? is it by diving 120 by 2 to get 0 1 or 2?!
